Born in 1944 in India, and brought up there and in England, Pamela attended Heidelberg University in Germany and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. After starting in repertory theater in Chesterfield and York, she has had a long career in stage, television, and film.

Audio

Pamela is a regular on Big Finish’s UK audio serial Countermeasures, a spin off from the TV series, Dr. Who
She recently completed the audiobook Doctor Who and The Hand of Fear for the BBC to be found on Audible.
She is an active member of The Miami Radio Players.

 
 

Production

Pamela has produced various plays, amongst them Rubicon and Transports of the Heart in L.A. She has also produced a documentary film for Harlech Television on the Indian Kite  flying festival Makar Sankranti called Fish in The Sky.

Pamela and her husband, actor Michael O‘Hagan, ran an Equity theatre season of three plays, Poor Beast in the Rain, Snake in the Grass and Boise, USA at the Matrix Theatre in LA, thanks to the generosity of their friend and Angel, Rajen Kilachand, who sponsored the Kilachand Series.
Dr. Kilachand also sponsored Salem K Theatre’s production of Harold Pinter's The Dumb Waiter at the Gleason Room, Miami Beach, directed by Patrick Dromgoole, with actors Michael O’Hagan and Richard Haylor.

Salem K Theatre

A non for profit, 501(c) (3) tax-exempt theatre company, which had its roots in England, later on was incorporated in Los Angeles and now is incorporated in Miami, Florida. It was created by Michael O’Hagan and Pamela Salem, the co-writers of the radio comedy, Shoreside and working actors of many years’ standing on both sides of the Atlantic. It has produced the Miami Radio Players for five years, and hopes to produce them next year in a poetry evening.
